Award-winning jewellery designer. Rhino Authorized Trainer. Author of The CAD/CAM Jeweller. I teach jewellery brand owners to design with Rhino CAD and build with AI, from a studio in Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter.
I studied jewellery at Birmingham City University and went on to work with the UK's largest jewellery manufacturer, designing for bridal and fine collections at industrial scale. That experience showed me how digital design can lift quality across an entire production pipeline, and it also showed me how many independent designers struggle to access that level of training.
In 2020 I founded Studio Saina, my own bespoke jewellery studio, and the same year I won the A'Design Award and the Goldsmith's Craft & Design Council Award. In 2024 I won the Goldsmith's Craft Award again, this time in the Senior Modeller category. My work has also been recognised by the British Fashion Council.
Alongside the brand work I became a McNeel Rhino Authorized Trainer in 2023, and my studio is an Official Rhino Training Centre, the only one in the UK positioned specifically for jewellery designers. I can issue Rhino certificates and provide educational software licences for up to thirty students.
In 2024 I published The CAD/CAM Jeweller Volume 1, the definitive guide to modern jewellery design with CAD/CAM. Volume 2 is in development. The book is the foundation behind everything I teach: real production standards, not surface-level tutorials.
Most jewellery brand owners I meet are doing the design well, then losing weeks every month to admin, marketing, photography, and listing copy. AI is the lever. I've spent the last two years building AI agents and multi-agent systems to run my own operations. The academy combines what works for jewellery production (Rhino, gemmology, casting tolerances) with what works for running a modern brand (AI for content, automation, marketing).
The academy launches with three programmes: Rhino 1:1 training, a 5-day AI Intensive cohort, and The Maker's AI Lab on Skool. The studio at Victoria Mansions in the Jewellery Quarter opens in June 2026.
