One-to-one Rhino and jewellery CAD/CAM tuition: you and one tutor, working on a real piece of your own, at the studio in the Jewellery Quarter. You take your files away after every session.
There are no group classes here and no drop-in hours: every visit is booked.
From the first call to your files
- Book a free 30-minute discovery call. Tell us what you are trying to make.
- Agree the piece you will build. Real jewellery, not an exercise.
- Work through the session live, one to one, at Victoria Mansions or by video call.
- Between sessions, a piece of homework: a variation on what you built, never a repeat.
- Take your files away after every session. They are yours.
Which pack suits you
The same prices in person or online. The Rhino licence is bought from McNeel, not from us, and is not included.
Fix one problem
Best for: Designers who already use Rhino and are stuck on one thing.
1 session, 1 or 2 hours
Your first ring, print-ready
Best for: Designers who have stalled on Rhino, and bench jewellers adding CAD to their bench work.
5 sessions, 10 hours
Sketch to caster
Best for: Complete beginners who want full working proficiency, start to finish.
10 sessions, 20 hours
- Complete beginner, never opened Rhino: Pack 3, Sketch to caster.
- Bench jeweller adding CAD to the bench: Pack 2, Your first ring, print-ready.
- Designer with Rhino experience, stuck on one thing: Pack 1, Fix one problem.

Not near Birmingham?

Visiting the studio
Can I just drop in?
Visits by appointment. Book a free discovery call, or email hi@hamedarab.academy (usually within 24 hours), and we will fix a time.
Do I have to be in Birmingham to learn with you?
No. The same one-to-one sessions run online by video call at the same price, from wherever you are.
What should I bring?
A piece you want to build, or the problem you are stuck on. Tell us on the discovery call which machine you will use, and we will check that it runs Rhino 8.
Do I need to know Rhino first?
No. Installation, licensing and the interface are taught live in the first session, before you draw a single curve.
Do I get a certificate?
Only the ten-session pack includes a certificate of completion from an Official Rhino Training Centre. Single sessions and the five-session pack do not carry one.
