Spec Sheet Generator

Spec Sheet Generator is a feature inside True-Scale, our free measuring tool. It turns a measured design render into a print-ready A4 jewellery spec sheet, the CAD handoff sheet and casting brief you can hand straight to a caster, CAD technician, or workshop: dimensions burned onto the image, a measurements table in millimetres, and a stable reference number. It runs entirely in your browser and nothing is uploaded.

How it works

01

Anchor and measure

Open True-Scale, load your render, and anchor one known measurement in millimetres, such as a band width, a stone diameter, or a credit card at 85.60mm. Measure the piece from there.

02

Add the details

Fill in the piece details: metal, stones, and notes, alongside your maker or studio name, a contact line, and a stable reference number.

03

Print the spec sheet

Press Print spec sheet to generate the annotated A4 page, then print it or save it as a PDF straight from your browser's print dialog.

What's on the sheet

Annotated image

Your render with every measured dimension burned directly onto the image.

Measurements table

Every line, circle, and box measurement from True-Scale, listed in millimetres.

Metal, stones, and notes

Fields to record the specification in your own words.

Maker line

Your studio name and a contact line, so the sheet is traceable back to you.

Reference number

A stable reference number for the piece, for your records and the caster's.

Approval and date strip

A signed-and-dated approval line before the piece goes into production.

Renders are design visualisations, so the sheet carries a disclosure line: dimensions must be confirmed before production. That protects the maker and the caster, and it replaces the screenshots and verbal handoffs that cause avoidable production errors.

Want the full accurate-scale workflow guide?

This feature is free to use right now, no email needed, as part of True-Scale. The guide below is optional: it walks through the full anchor-measure-verify method, including how to get a clean spec sheet at the other end.
