How it works
Add stones at true scale
Pick a cut, gem type and millimetre size. Every stone lands on the canvas at real scale, carrying its estimated carat weight from the same calibrated engine as the Stone Weight Estimator.
Arrange with your setting gap
Drag stones around a centre stone; they snap to the gap you set. Plan halos, three-stone spreads, head ranges for a collection, or the same design at different carat targets.
Read totals, print the stone map
Totals stay separate per gem material, never combined. Print a numbered stone map with a legend the CAD designer and the stone setter can both work from.
Weights use the standard trade estimation formulae and chart-calibrated depth defaults, so treat them as planning figures, not certificates. Snapping works on each stone's bounding circle in this version, so pointed cuts can sit closer than the gap suggests; check tight clusters by eye and weigh real stones when it matters.
